Francis

Dick Francis (1920–2010) was a British author and former professional steeplechase jockey who became renowned for his mystery and crime novels centered on horse racing in England. He wrote over 40 bestselling novels, including 'Dead Cert' and 'Forfeit', and also authored an autobiography titled 'The Sport of Queens'.
