Francesca Hopkins
Francesca M. Hopkins is an Associate Professor of Climate Change and Sustainability in the Department of Environmental Sciences at the University of California, Riverside. She earned a B.A. in Environmental Science and Spanish from UC Berkeley in 2005 and a Ph.D. in Earth System Science from UC Irvine in 2013, followed by a NASA Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Jet Propulsion Laboratory from 2014-2016. Her research examines human impacts on the global carbon cycle, focusing on greenhouse gas emissions in urban and agricultural settings, and she co-founded CLEAN education to teach climate science in schools.[1][3][4]
