Fran Claggett
Fran Claggett, also known as Mary Frances 'Fran' Claggett or Fran Claggett-Holland, is a poet, educator, and author who taught high school English, humanities, and university courses, including at UC Berkeley as the James Lynch Lecturer.[1][2] She served as a Bay Area Writing Project consultant, traveling widely to conduct workshops, and later taught memoir and poetry at Osher Lifelong Learning at Sonoma State University in Sonoma County.[1][2] Fran has published four books of poetry, including her latest 'Under the Wings of the Crow, A Legacy of Poems, New and Selected' (Risk Press), as well as numerous books on teaching literature and writing.[1][3]
