Founding Fathers
The Founding Fathers were a group of late-eighteenth-century American revolutionary leaders who united the Thirteen Colonies, oversaw the War of Independence from Great Britain, established the United States, and crafted its foundational government documents including the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution.[2] Prominent figures include George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Adams, James Madison, and Alexander Hamilton, among others who signed key documents and served in pivotal roles.[1][2][5]
