Foster Huntington

Foster Huntington is a photographer, filmmaker, and author born and raised in Portland, Oregon. He gained fame after quitting his fashion design job at Ralph Lauren in New York City in 2011 to live a nomadic life in a VW Syncro van, documenting his adventures surfing, snowboarding, and exploring nature on Instagram. He later built a multi-platform treehouse in Washington’s Columbia River Gorge, where he creates skate-centric stop-motion animations and pursues filmmaking interests in science-fiction and Westerns.
