Ford Madox 1873-1939 Ford

Ford Madox Ford (1873-1939), born Ford Hermann Hueffer, was an influential English novelist, poet, critic, and editor, grandson of Pre-Raphaelite painter Ford Madox Brown. He founded the English Review and Transatlantic Review, collaborated with Joseph Conrad, and authored major works like The Good Soldier and the Parade's End tetralogy. He spent his later years in America and died in Deauville, France.[1][2][3]
