Fiona Watt
Fiona Watt is a British scientist and world leader in stem cell biology and regenerative medicine. Since January 2022, she has served as Director of the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO) and a group leader at EMBL Heidelberg. She is renowned for her fundamental discoveries about genes and mechanisms controlling self-renewal and differentiation of skin stem cells, with over 280 publications and numerous prestigious awards.
