Fernando Sánchez-Costa

Fernando Sánchez-Costa is a Spanish historian, journalist, and politician who served as a deputy in the Parliament of Catalonia for the Popular Party during the X and XI Legislatures. He is the former president of Societat Civil Catalana (2019–2022) and an assistant professor at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, where he specializes in contemporary history and the politics of memory. His academic work includes research on the Second Republic in Catalonia and the co-edited book 'In Defense of Democracy'.
