Fanuel Muindi
Fanuel Muindi is a former neuroscientist turned civic science scholar-journalist, ethnographer, social practice artist, philosopher, and poet with Lacustrine Bantu roots in the Rift Forests of Eastern Congo and the Mara Wetlands.[1][2][3] He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biology from Morehouse College, a PhD in Organismal Biology from Stanford University, and completed postdoctoral training at MIT's Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences.[1] Muindi is the Founder and Director of the Civic Science Media Lab and a professor of the practice in the Department of Communication Studies at Northeastern University.[1][3]
