Fannie Merritt Farmer
Fannie Merritt Farmer was an American culinary expert, cookbook author, and cooking teacher best known for her influential 1896 cookbook, The Boston Cooking-School Cook Book, later known as the Fannie Farmer Cookbook.[2][3] She helped standardize recipe measurements, making cooking more precise and accessible, and became known as the "Mother of Level Measurements."[3][7]
