F. J. Sheed

Francis Joseph 'F. J.' Sheed was an Australian-born lawyer, Catholic writer, publisher, and lay theologian who founded the influential publishing house Sheed & Ward with his wife Maisie Ward. He was a prominent figure in the Catholic Evidence Guild and a close friend of G.K. Chesterton and Hilaire Belloc, known for articulating Catholic theology in an accessible manner.
