Everett Fahy

Everett Fahy (1941-2018) was a prominent art historian specializing in Florentine painters of the late 15th and early 16th centuries. He served as a curator at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, director of the Frick Collection, and later as the John Pope-Hennessey Chairman of European Paintings at the Met from 1986 to 2009. He died on April 23, 2018, from complications of Parkinson’s disease.
