Evdoxios Doxiadis
Evdoxios Doxiadis is a historian specializing in 18th and 19th century Greek and Mediterranean history, with particular interests in law, gender, minorities, state formation, and nationalism. He earned his PhD from the University of California, Berkeley in 2007, served as a post-doctoral fellow at Princeton University from 2007 to 2008, and is currently a Professor of History at Simon Fraser University in Canada. He is the author of 'The Shackles of Modernity: Women, Property, and the Transition from Slavery to Freedom in Ottoman and Greek Law.'[1][2][3]
