Eulalie Osgood Grover
Eulalie Osgood Grover was an American children's author best known for creating the 'Sunbonnet Babies' series of reading primers, starting with *The Sunbonnet Babies Primer* in 1902, illustrated by Bertha L. Corbett, which became hugely successful and widely used in U.S. public schools. She later introduced *The Overall Boys* series in 1905 and wrote over 27 books for young readers, including junior and senior high school students, selling more than four million copies. Born in Mantorville, Minnesota, she moved to Winter Park, Florida in 1926 and continued her literary career there until her death.
