Ernest G Tannis

Ernest G. Tannis is a Canadian lawyer called to the Ontario Bar in April 1976, practicing for over 47 years until December 31, 2002, after which he focused on alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and writing. He founded ADR Centre Canada Inc., became a Chartered Mediator with the ADR Institute of Canada, and authored books advocating a new vision for justice and ADR. Tannis, known as 'Ernie the Attorney®', has been recognized with honors from the Governor General of Canada.
