Ernest Drake

Dr. Ernest Drake is a fictional Victorian-era dragonologist born in 1822 in Saint Leonard's Forest, Sussex, England, who became fascinated by dragons and dinosaurs from a young age. He founded Dr. Drake's Dragonalia in London as a secret society front and authored *Dragonology: The Complete Book of Dragons* in 1895 or 1896, along with subsequent works on dragon biology, behavior, and human interactions. The character was created by real-life author Dugald A. Steer for the Ologies series.
