Erik Torkells

Erik Torkells is a former magazine editor who served as editor-in-chief of Budget Travel until 2008, after which he founded Tribeca Citizen, a neighborhood site providing news, photos, shopping tips, and directory information for Tribeca in New York City[1][2]. He worked as a magazine editor for 16 years following college, during which a semester in New York City inspired his move there[2]. Later, he relocated to Santa Barbara, California, where he founded Siteline Santa Barbara, continuing his focus on local neighborhood content, hiking, and swimming[3][4][5].
