Erik Seedhouse

Erik Seedhouse is an Associate Professor in Spaceflight Operations and Applied Aviation Sciences at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where he teaches courses on life support systems, space operations, and related topics, and serves as Manager of the Suborbital Spaceflight Simulator.[1][2][5] A prolific author, he has published over 30 books on manned space exploration, including titles on SpaceX, Virgin Galactic, and Bigelow Aerospace, and holds a Ph.D. in Space Motion from the University of Sheffield.[1][2][6] Formerly a leading 100-km runner and world number one ranked ultradistance triathlete, he was a finalist in the Canadian Space Agency’s 2009 astronaut recruitment and divides his time between Florida's Space Coast, Sandefjord, Norway, and Waikoloa.[1][2][4]
