Erica Charters

Erica Charters is a Professor of the Global History of Medicine at the University of Oxford, where she teaches and researches the history of war, disease, and empires.[1][2] She coordinated a multidisciplinary project on How Epidemics End in the context of COVID-19.[1] She completed her undergraduate studies in the Bachelor of Humanities at Carleton University, followed by a master's in history at the University of Toronto and a doctorate at Oxford.[3]
