Eric Shanower
Eric James Shanower is an American cartoonist and writer, born on October 23, 1963, in Key West, Florida, best known for his Oz novels and comics, including Marvel adaptations of L. Frank Baum's Oz books with Skottie Young, and the ongoing graphic novel series Age of Bronze retelling the Trojan War.[1][2][4] He co-founded Hungry Tiger Press in 1994 with David Maxine and has worked with publishers like DC Comics, Marvel, and IDW, earning multiple Eisner Awards.[1][5] Shanower lives in Portland, Oregon, and has illustrated for television, stage, magazines, and children's books.[4][5]
