Eric Shanower (Adapter),

Eric James Shanower (born October 23, 1963) is an American cartoonist, writer, and illustrator best known for his Oz graphic novels, the Trojan War retelling Age of Bronze, and scripting New York Times bestselling adaptations of L. Frank Baum's Oz books for Marvel Comics with art by Skottie Young. After attending the Joe Kubert School, he began his professional career lettering comics and later co-founded Hungry Tiger Press. He lives with his husband David Maxine in Portland, Oregon.
