Eric Marcus
Eric Marcus is an American journalist, podcast producer, and non-fiction writer born in New York City, best known as the founder and host of the award-winning Making Gay History podcast, which draws from his archival interviews to bring LGBTQ history to life. He is the author of a dozen books, including the #1 New York Times bestseller Breaking the Surface, the autobiography of Olympic diver Greg Louganis, and Making Gay History, an oral history of the gay and lesbian civil rights movement. Marcus has also co-produced the podcast Those Who Were There from Yale's Holocaust testimonies and serves as founder and chair emeritus of the Stonewall 50 Consortium.
