Eric Jerome Dickey (1961–2021) was an award-winning New York Times bestselling author who wrote 29 novels and graphic novels, primarily focusing on contemporary African-American life and crime thrillers. His debut novel, Sister, Sister, was named one of Essence magazine's 50 Most Impactful Black Books of the Last 50 Years, and his works sold over seven million copies.
