Eric Flint
Eric Flint (1947–2022) was an American author, editor, and publisher known for his work in science fiction and alternate history. His career began with a win in the Writers of the Future contest in 1993, followed by his debut novel *Mother of Demons* in 1997 and the bestselling *1632* series starting in 2000, which pioneered collaborative writing.[1][2][5]
