Eric A. Anchimbe

Eric A. Anchimbe is an Associate Professor of English Linguistics at the University of Bayreuth and a Senior Fellow at the Bayreuth International Graduate School of African Studies (BIGSAS). He holds a Ph.D. in linguistics from the University of Munich (LMU) and specializes in sociolinguistics, postcolonial pragmatics, indigenized varieties of English, and language policy in multilingual African contexts, particularly Cameroon. His notable works include 'Cameroon English: Authenticity, Ecology and Evolution' and 'Language Policy and Identity Construction: The Dynamics of Cameroon's Multilingualism.'
