Engle

Madeleine L'Engle (1918-2007) was an American writer of fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and young adult literature, best known for her fantasy and science fiction series *A Wrinkle in Time* and its sequels. Her works reflect both her Christian faith and strong interest in modern science, exploring themes of good versus evil, the nature of God, individual responsibility, and family life. She authored more than 60 books and won numerous accolades including the John Newbery Medal.
