Emmy Laybourne

Emmy Laybourne is a young adult novelist best known for her internationally bestselling Monument 14 trilogy, which has been translated into 9 languages, as well as standalone novels like Sweet and the Berserker series currently being adapted for television.[1][2] A former character actress recognized for her role in the movie Superstar, she began her writing career as a playwright and studied writing at Vassar College and screenwriting at UCLA, where she won the Eleanor Perry Award.[1][2] She lives in Los Angeles with her husband, two kids, and dog.[1][2]
