Emmanuel Anati
Emmanuel Anati is an Italian archaeologist born in Florence in 1930, founder and Executive Director of the Centro Camuno di Studi Preistorici in Capo di Ponte, Italy, and retired Professor Ordinarius of Palaeo-ethnology at the University of Lecce.[1][2] He studied Archaeology and Historical Geography at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem (B.A. 1953, M.A. 1955), specialized in Anthropology at Harvard (A.M. 1959) and Ethnology at the Sorbonne (Docteur es Lettres 1960), and is renowned for his work on prehistoric rock art, tribal cultures, and excavations at Har Karkom potentially linked to biblical sites.[1][2][3][5]
