Emma Carlson Berne
Emma Carlson Berne is a prolific children's book author and ghostwriter who has published over 120 books for juvenile, middle-grade, and young adult readers, working with publishers like American Girl, Disney Lucasfilm, Simon & Schuster, National Geographic Kids, and Scholastic.[2][5][6] She served as Writer-in-Residence for the Cincinnati Public Library in 2017-2018 and has lived in various places including Wisconsin, South Carolina, England, Israel, and now resides in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband and three sons.[1][2][3] Berne is an avid horseback rider, nature enthusiast, and enjoys outdoor activities like running, hiking, and camping.[2]
