Emily St John Mandel

Emily St. John Mandel is a Canadian novelist and essayist known for literary fiction, including the novels *Station Eleven*, *The Glass Hotel*, and *Sea of Tranquility*. Born in 1979 and raised on Denman Island, British Columbia, she later moved to New York City and has also written short fiction and essays.
