Emily Nagoski PhD
Emily Nagoski, PhD (born 1977), is an American sex educator, researcher, and author of the New York Times bestseller Come as You Are, which explores the science of women's sexuality, as well as co-author of Burnout with her sister Amelia and upcoming book Come Together.[1][3] She earned a PhD in Health Behavior with a concentration in human sexuality and a master's in counseling from Indiana University, with training at the Kinsey Institute, and served as director of wellness education at Smith College from 2008 to 2016.[1][4] Beginning her career as a peer sex educator at the University of Delaware in 1995, she now focuses on sex and stress education to empower women to live confidently in their bodies.[2][3]
