Emily Gravett
Emily Gravett is an English author and illustrator of children's picture books born in Brighton in 1972. After leaving school at 16, she spent eight years living as a traveller in a bus before settling in rural Wales and eventually enrolling in an illustration degree at Brighton University. She won the Kate Greenaway Medal twice—in 2005 for her debut book Wolves and in 2008 for Little Mouse's Big Book of Fears—establishing herself as an award-winning creator of innovative children's literature.
