Emily Benichou Gottreich

Emily Benichou Gottreich is an adjunct professor in Global Studies and Political Economy at the University of California, Berkeley, and a faculty affiliate in History and Middle Eastern Languages and Cultures. Her research focuses on Moroccan Jewish history and Muslim-Jewish relations in broader Arab-Islamic contexts, and she is known for work on Jewish history in Morocco and the Maghrib.
