Emilio Ambasz

Emilio Ambasz is an Argentinian-American architect, award-winning industrial designer, and visionary known as the father of green architecture for his pioneering 'green over grey' style integrating buildings with gardens.[1][2] Born in Resistencia, Argentina, he studied at Princeton University, earning undergraduate and master's degrees in architecture in two years, and served as Curator of Design at the Museum of Modern Art in New York from 1969 to 1976.[5][1] His innovations include the Vertebra ergonomic chair, winner of the Compasso d'Oro in 1981, and influential projects like the ACROS Fukuoka, with numerous awards and exhibitions worldwide.[2][6][8]
