Emerson Eggerichs

Emerson Eggerichs is an American author, speaker, and founder of Love and Respect Ministries, established in 1999 with his wife Sarah, focusing on marriage, communication, and family dynamics based on biblical principles from Ephesians 5:33. He served as senior pastor of East Lansing Trinity Church in Michigan for nearly 20 years and authored the New York Times bestseller Love & Respect (2004), which has sold over 2 million copies and won multiple awards. Eggerichs holds degrees including a B.A. in Biblical Studies and M.A. in Communications from Wheaton College, M.Div. from Dubuque Seminary, and Ph.D. in Child and Family Ecology from Michigan State University.
