Elliott Mackle

Elliott Mackle is an acclaimed gay novelist, journalist, and former dining critic for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. A native of Miami, he served four years in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era, achieving the rank of captain while stationed in Italy, and later built his career in Atlanta as a novelist, food critic, and university instructor.[1][3][8]
