Elliot B. Koffman

Elliot Bruce Koffman is a noted computer scientist and professor of computer and information sciences at Temple University since 1974. He is renowned for authoring numerous widely used introductory textbooks on programming languages including Pascal, C, C++, Java, FORTRAN, BASIC, Ada, and Modula-2. A former chairman of the ACM Task Force for introductory programming methods courses, he has significantly influenced computer science education.
