Ellen Labrecque
Ellen Labrecque is a children's non-fiction author who has written over 100 books on topics ranging from sports and athletes to historical figures like Maya Angelou, Winston Churchill, and Princess Diana.[1][3][4] A former Senior Editor and writer at Sports Illustrated Kids, she graduated from Ursinus College in 1995 where she set the all-time basketball scoring record, and now lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.[1][2] Her works include biographies in the 'Who Was?' and 'Who HQ' series, covering subjects from ancient civilizations to outer space.[3][5]
