Ella Hawley

Ella J. Hawley Crossett was born on March 21, 1853, in Gainesville, New York, to John Waldo Hawley, a Universalist, and Juliette Thorpe Hawley. She attended school in Warsaw, New York, where she was raised with values of freedom and equality, and later became associated with suffrage efforts in Warsaw. She passed away in 1929.
