Elizabeth Scurfield

Elizabeth Scurfield co-founded the Chinese Department at the University of Westminster and established the first UK student exchange scheme with China.[2] She was born on 1 March 1891 in Gateshead, Durham, England, to parents Edward and his wife.[1] She passed away in 1969.[1]
