Elizabeth Raum
Elizabeth Raum is a Canadian oboist and composer born in Berlin, New Hampshire, who became a Canadian citizen in 1985.[2] She earned her Bachelor of Music in oboe performance from the Eastman School of Music in 1966 and her Master of Music in composition from the University of Regina in 1985.[4] An extremely prolific composer, she has established herself as one of Canada's most eminent composers with works including 3 operas, over 50 chamber pieces, 15 vocal works, choral works, ballets, concerti, and major orchestral works that have been performed throughout North America, Europe, South America, China, Japan, and Russia.[4]
