Elizabeth Palmer

Elizabeth Palmer Peabody was an American transcendentalist, writer, and publisher. She was a key figure in the transcendentalist movement and a proponent of educational reform, advocating for kindergarten education in the United States. Peabody was also a bookseller and publisher, playing a significant role in disseminating transcendentalist literature.
