Elizabeth Ewing

Elizabeth Wendell Hunter Ewing (1841–1905) was an American Civil War nurse who later became president of the National Association of Army Nurses of the Civil War. She is noted for her service to Union soldiers and for her postwar advocacy on behalf of Civil War nurses.
