Elizabeth Drew is an acclaimed American journalist and author known for her coverage of U.S. politics, particularly as a former Washington correspondent for The New Yorker from 1973 to 1992 and for The Atlantic Monthly from 1967 to 1973. She has written numerous books on political events, including Washington Journal on the Watergate affair, Politics and Money, and Citizen McCain. Born Elizabeth Brenner in Cincinnati, Ohio, she graduated from Wellesley College with a B.A. in political science in 1957.
