Elizabeth Bear
Elizabeth Bear, born Sarah Bear Elizabeth Wishnevsky on September 22, 1971, in Hartford, Connecticut, is an acclaimed American author known for her work in speculative fiction, science fiction, and fantasy. She won the 2005 John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer and has received multiple Hugo Awards for her short fiction, including for 'Shoggoths in Bloom' and 'Tideline'.
