Elisabeth Albrecht Cawthon

Elisabeth A. Cawthon is an associate professor of history in the Department of History at the University of Texas, Arlington. She is an author who has written works on historical trials and medicine, including 'Famous Trials in History' (2011) and 'Medicine on Trial: A Handbook with Cases, Laws, and Documents.' Her family has deep roots in Texas, with German ancestors who purchased a 220-acre farm in 1885.
