Elihu Katz

Elihu Katz was an American-Israeli sociologist and communication scientist who significantly contributed to the study of mass communication, particularly through his work on uses and gratifications theory and the intersection of media and interpersonal communication[1][2]. He authored over 20 books and 175 articles, and is recognized as one of the founding fathers of regular television broadcasts in Israel[2][9].
