Eleonora Canepari

Eleonora Canepari is a historian specializing in the mobility, work, and living practices of urban lower classes, including marginal groups, during the Ancien Régime, as well as building biographies. She earned her doctorate in Modern History from the University of Turin in 2006 and another in History and Civilizations from EHESS in 2011. She serves as Directrice d’études at EHESS and is affiliated with the Centre Norbert Elias and TELEMMe research teams.
