Elena Zelayeta

Elena Zelayeta was a Mexican-born American cookbook author, restaurateur, and television cooking presenter who helped popularize Mexican cuisine in the United States. She became especially known for her cookbooks and her televised cooking program after losing her sight and rebuilding her career around food.
