Eleftherios P. Diamandis

Eleftherios Phedias Diamandis (born October 8, 1952) is a Greek Cypriot-Canadian biochemist specializing in clinical chemistry, cancer diagnostics, proteomics, and biomarkers.[1][3][4] He serves as Professor and Head of Clinical Biochemistry in the Department of Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto, Division Head of Clinical Biochemistry at Mount Sinai Hospital, and Biochemist-in-Chief at the University Health Network in Toronto, Ontario.[1][2][3] Diamandis has published extensively, including 492 research papers, 95 reviews, 4 books, and 26 book chapters, and holds distinctions such as membership in the Royal Society of Canada.[4]
